I am moving to Florida for my husband's job and I'm looking into purchasing an annual pass. My husband will be working weekends and I would like to see if going to disney world on my own with 2 children on the weekend is a good idea. Before I commit to eit

    Hi James!

The last part of your question was cut off, so hopefully I am answering the right question for you.

I have taken my two kids (5 and 2) to Walt Disney World countless times by myself during the week and on weekends.  Being a local passholder means you won't feel the need to experience every attraction every time you visit or get to the park when it opens and stay until it closes.  When I take the kids by myself, we select our favorite three attractions for FastPass+ (we usually pick them the night before the morning of) so we can skip the standby lines and then roam around and do a few more things of their choosing, grab a bite to eat at a quick service restaurant and catch a show or two before we head home.  There is no need to feel rushed or stressed.  The best part is that if you find it too crowded, hot or otherwise, you can leave knowing that you can come back another day.

If you are still unsure about becoming a passholder, you can purchase a 1, 3 or 4 day Florida resident ticket to begin with to test it out.  If you decide this is what you want to do, you can upgrade your tickets to passes before the end of day on your last day of your ticket.

A great Floridian perk is the monthly payment program.  A down payment of a one day ticket price is required and the remainder of the balance can be paid in equal monthly installments.  This makes purchasing annual passes more affordable.

    Have a magical day!
