    We will be moving from the Contemporary resort to the Grand Floridian . Can we take our luggage on the Monorail 🚝 To transport our luggage?

    Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with a question about your upcoming stay. You've chosen a great time to visit Disney World - the Fall decorations and spooky touches will get you in the Halloween spirit! 

    The Disney Monorail is such a magical way to travel between select Disney Resorts, Magic Kingdom Park, and the Transportation and Ticket Center! However, it isn’t able to accommodate luggage - suitcases and larger bags aren’t permitted due to space and safety considerations.

    Here's the good news: Bell Services will take care of transferring your luggage to your next Disney Resort hotel! On your check-out day, head to Bell Services with your luggage, and they'll tag your items for you. You can pop over to the theme parks or continue with your magical plans, and when you arrive at your next resort, you can either pick up your bags or have them brought to your room when you are ready to receive them. 

    I recommend keeping a small bag with any important items you might need during the day, as it could take a bit of time for your luggage to be transported.
