We are moving to California at the end of Sept and want to take the kids to Disneyland the 8th of Oct. If we do not have our CA drivers license, what can we use to show proof of residency? I don't think we would have a utility bill yet.

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Brittanae!

I love to hear that you are planning to visit the Disneyland Resort with your family this year!

There is so much to explore and experience, such as the newly reopened, Mickey's Toontown. This land was reimagined for the entire family to enjoy. Some of my favorites are Goofy's How-To-Play Yard, the food offerings at Café Daisy, and the newest attraction at the Resort, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. I know you and your family will love exploring all that this land has to offer!

Regarding your question, currently, there is the Southern California Resident Weekday Ticket Offer. The offer is valid only for Southern California residents within ZIP codes 90000-93599. Moreover, you must present proof of eligible residency, i.e., a valid government-issued photo ID, which is required for admission into the Theme Parks. The use of personal mail such as bank statements, and utility payment notices, will not be accepted. Lastly, these tickets expire on May 25, 2023. I apologize if this is not the news you were expecting to hear.

However, I see you mentioned you are interested in visiting this October. That is actually Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort! You will love the autumnal decorations, pumpkin-spiced treats, and spooky vibes at the resort. I especially recommend purchasing tickets for the Oogie Boogie Bash! This is a separate-ticketed event held at Disney California Adventure Park that is NOT to be missed if you enjoy dressing up for Halloween, trick-or-treating, and meeting Disney Villains. Follow the Disney Parks Blog to know when these tickets go on sale!

Brittanae, I hope this answers your question! If you have more questions for us, please come back and ask! We are here to help.

    Your Pal,
