Ahoy there, Christianne, and welcome back to planDisney! It sounds like you’re about to embark upon a WONDERful trip this August, so I’d love to help you plan ahead.
While I cannot speculate about the exact movies that will be showing in the
Buena Vista Theatre on your sailing, I can share the first-run films that are currently on the
Disney Wonder schedule. They include:

Don’t forget one of my favorite ways to watch movies on the big screen on a Disney Cruise: Funnel Vision. I don’t know what I love more, being able to sing along to Disney animated classics while swimming in Goofy’s Family Pool or heading up to Deck 9 after dinner to watch a feature film under the stars while the evening ocean breeze tickles my hair.
Another tip is to purchase a refillable popcorn bucket at the beginning of your voyage so that you can take advantage of those affordable refills for all the shows, including the live Broadway-style shows in the Walt Disney Theatre. A fan favorite is "Frozen, A Musical Spectacular", but I also love spying so many surprise Character visits during "The Golden Mickeys".
For the most up-to-date schedule, make sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before embarkation day and then connect to the "DCL-GUEST" WiFi network once onboard. You’ll find everything from showtimes to dinner attire themes on your daily schedule and can even ‘favorite’ activities you don’t want to miss so you’re notified ahead of time.
