Your Personal Navigator will have the schedule for the
Ariel View screen that can be viewed on Decks 9 and 10 from the Goofy's Pool area. Families enjoy swimming and watching movies. It's also relaxing to get a bite to eat and watch a film.
Movies are not continuous due to other events that take place in this area. For example, on a recent January cruise the movie "Cars" was playing prior to the Adventures Away party. Special events are also played on the Ariel View including NFL football games. On Super Bowl Sunday, the big game was played!
On your first full day aboard the Disney Wonder, there will likely be a movie played in the morning, afternoon and evening. In January, "Little Mermaid" was shown from 10:30 a.m. until Noon. "Camp Rock" 2:00-3:30 p.m., Disney Channel programs at 6:00-7:00 p.m., "The Black Cauldron" from 8-9:15 p.m. and then the ABC show Lost at 10 p.m.
This screen is also utilized throughout the day to show Virtual Ship Tours of the Bridge and Engine rooms.
My son loves walking by and seeing one of his favorite Disney Channel shows playing!
You'll receive a Personal Navigator upon boarding the ship to help plan your first night. Each evening, the next day's Navigator will be delivered to your stateroom. You'll then be able to plan which movies you'd like to watch the next day.
Other movies shown recently were:
Lilo and Stitch
Toy Story 2
Pirates in the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (following the Pirates party!)
Finding Nemo
High School Musical
Peter Pan
When you receive your Personal Navigator, look at the section marked SPECIAL and find the show times for the Ariel View which is a jumbo LED screen.
