Hi there, Rebecca!
I’m so happy to hEAR about your upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Disney’s All Star Movies Resort is so incredibly themed, my family loved staying there this past spring. We stayed in the Toy Story section, and my kids loved hanging out with the larger than life characters outside our room!
Disney motor coach buses begin to run 45 minutes prior to park opening. I would check the
park hours for
Disney’s Hollywood Studios first, before deciding if the complimentary resort transportation will work.
Based on my experience, on an
Extra Magic Hour day, we were running late for our 8:10 a.m. breakfast reservation at
Be Our Guest Restaurant . The transportation line for the bus to Magic Kingdom Park was very full, since everyone was trying to enjoy the Extra Magic Hours. We made it, but I do not recommend hitting the snooze button on your alarm like we did. I would just check what time the park opens, and what time the first bus departs Disney’s All Star Movies Resort using the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. I personally like to give us 45 minutes to 1 hour of travel time before we are wanting to arrive somewhere. This gives me the confidence that we will get there within enough time to get our bags checked and use the restroom if we need to before our reservation time.
Now, if the bus transportation from Disney’s All Star Movies Resort begins later than your dining reservation, because of park hours, I suggest using
Disney Minnie Van Service! This past July, we had breakfast reservations at 7:30 a.m. so we decided that the Minnie Van would be our best option! We arrived on time and of course, enjoyed an amazing breakfast!
Don’t worry though, the bus transportation is great! Throughout our 7 day stay, we were able to use the busses with no worries! It was only for those early morning dining experiences that we felt it might be safer to opt into other transportation because of the bus schedule.
Have a Magical Stay!
