Ahoy, Jayl! Welcome to planDisney, where we aim to answer all of your Disney Cruise Line questions and set you on course for smooth sailing. It looks like you will be stepping onboard the Disney Dream in just a matter of days, so I hope you’ve got your suitcases packed and ready to go.
The Disney Dream just finished its summer season in Europe and is currently making its transatlantic journey back to Florida, so your 5-Night Bahamian Cruise from Fort Lauderdale on September 27-October 2, 2026 is the first sailing of the season. There will be plenty of activities found across the ship, but one of the highlights is always watching the latest first-run features out at sea. On Decks 4 and 5, Midship, you will find the Buena Vista Theatre, which screens some of the most recent releases from Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, and even National Geographic over the course of your sailing. Sometimes films that are celebrating milestone anniversaries also get added to the lineup.
Although the exact list of movies is always subject to change, the Disney Dream has most recently been showing:
- Moana (2026)
- Zootopia 2
- Hoppers
- Lion
- Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu
- Toy Story 5
- Camp Rock 3
- Descendants: Wicked Wonderland
- Cars (20th Anniversary)
Once you step onboard, you will be able to see the full schedule of events for your sailing on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, including the movies being shown and their show times.
Disney is known for their incredible storytelling, so I hope you make time during your cruise to grab some popcorn and sit down to watch the magic unfold upon the big screen. Enjoy your sailing and don’t forget to book a Placeholder Reservation, so that you can start planning your next sailing where magic meets the sea right away. Happy sailing!
