Hi Eric,
Welcome aboard! Your Disney Cruise Line adventure is nearly here – you must be getting so excited for this magical, tropical escape. Watching a movie onboard feels like a real treat; it's such a unique and fun thing to do. In my family, someone will often take time for themselves to see a film solo and we also enjoy these great movies together throughout our sailing. Whether you’re watching a favorite on repeat or seeing something new for the first time, it’s always a fun part of a cruise vacation!
While entertainment is subject to change, here is the list of films currently showing onboard the Disney Wish in the movie theatres:
- Dashing Through the Snow (PG)
- Wish (PG)
- The Marvels (PG-13)
- Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (PG-13)
- The Little Mermaid (Live Action) (PG)
- Haunted Mansion (2023) - (PG-13)
- Elemental (PG)
- Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (PG-13)
- Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania (PG-13)
- Avatar 2: The Way of Water (PG-13)
- Encanto (PG)
- National Geographic: Making the Wish: Disney's Newest Cruise Ship - (PG)
- Peter Pan & Wendy (PG) (Disney+)
- Secret Life of Elephants: Episode 1: Desert (PG) (Disney+)
- Secret Life of Elephants: Episode 2: Savanna (PG) (Disney+)
- Strange World (PG)
The stunning Disney Wish has two movie theatres, allowing this great list of films to be shown throughout your cruise. Find both the Wonderland Cinema and Neverland Cinema on Deck 4, Forward. You can see a list of exact showtimes listed at the theatre or on your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. Be sure you have the app installed and updated prior to sailing, and once onboard you’ll see all the wonderful details populate for each day. I recommend selecting those films you want to see as a “favorite” activity, and the app will send gentle reminders of these upcoming showtimes so you don’t miss them.
My family also loves to watch movies on deck at night on FunnelVision, Deck 12 midship. There’s something so unique about being in the middle of the ocean, outdoors at night, with the huge screen showing a Disney film. We often grab some food from the quick service locations or bring an order of chicken wings and dessert from the 24-hour Room Service to enjoy together on deck. These little luxuries really make us feel a world away from our regular routines, and I know you’ll love the escape that only an experience at the movies at sea can provide.
I hope this list of featured films as you excited for what’s to come on your adventure ahead, Eric! Please let us know if you have any other questions on making the most of this sailing.
Wishing you a magical cruise,
Amy
