Welcome to planDisney, Jason! We're so happy you're here, and how exciting that you have a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth in just a few weeks!
This is a great question, and I'm glad you asked it. According to the "Important Details" section on the
SoCal Residents 3-Day, 1-Park special offer, the first bullet point does mention a valid government-issued photo ID showing proof of eligible residency being required for both purchase and admission. Would there be any kind of confirmation page for your new Driver's Licenses that you could print off?
My strong suggestion would be to
call the Guest Info line to speak to a Cast Member about this before your trip. It will be important to discuss your specific situation and get the details of what you'll need to enter the park you chose on the day of your visit. I'd hate for you to arrive at the front gates with the wrong documentation!
After you've discussed that with a Cast Member at the Guest Info line, I also wanted to make sure you made
theme park reservations for each day of your trip? You'll need both valid theme park tickets and park reservations to enter whichever park you chose to visit!
Once you get passed those turnstiles, there is so much fun waiting for you and your party on the other side!
Mickey's Toontown just reopened, and it is a delight! I'd recommend visiting
Café Daisy to get Daisy's Goody-Goody Donuts and a Specialty Cold Brrr-ew, then finding a nice, comfy spot on the grass for a picnic.
I hope you have so much fun on your visit to the Disneyland Resort, Jason! If you think of any follow-up questions as you continue to plan, please come back and see us again at planDisney!
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
