I just moved to Southern California and would love to purchase the 3-day SoCal resident tickets. I still have my out of state drivers license. I was told by customer service bringing also a current lease or utility wouldn’t work. Is this true?

    Hey Corey!

    Welcome to planDisney!

You’ve moved down to Southern California just in time for the Disney100 Celebration at Disneyland Resort! All the fun starts January 27th and there is so much in store for this centennial celebration. I don’t know about you but I am most excited about the return of the Magic Happens parade. It had a short run in 2020 and I can tell you first hand it’s nothing short of amazing. You definitely won’t want to miss the storytelling of some of your favorite Disney Movies like Coco and Frozen 2. I won’t spoil the ending but be on the lookout for some characters from your favorite Disney classics!

As you mentioned, from now until May 25, 2023 Southern California residents within ZIP codes 90000- 93599 and Northern Baja California residents within ZIP codes 21000-22999 can purchase specially priced theme park tickets for weekday use.  A valid government-issued photo ID or Driver's License is required for purchase and admission so as the Cast Member you spoke with mentioned, a current lease or utility bill will not work for proof of residency. The temporary ID/ Driver’s License paperwork from the DMV that you receive when switching everything over to California will work and would allow you to purchase a SoCal Resident ticket and enter the parks.

Well Corey, I think you have the information you need but if anything else comes up please come back and let us know.

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
