Hi! I just moved to Florida and really want to get an annual pass! Is there any way I can use any bills of my residency along with a Florida school ID as proof? Thank you so much!!!!

Hi, Sabrina! Welcome to planDisney - and welcome to the Sunshine State!

Getting a Florida Resident Annual Pass is one of the first steps to becoming a true Floridian! There's nothing like being able to get a touch of magic just when you need it. I've been a Passholder for years, and I wouldn't want it any other way!

Sabrina, Disney does have a few different ways you can verify your Florida residency when activating your Annual Pass. You can use utility bills that are no more than 2 months old, along with statements from a checking or savings account. Bills and statements must be in your name and show your physical Florida address (P.O. boxes aren't accepted). They likely won't accept a student ID, but the documentation listed along with your out-of-state ID should be fine.

You can see the complete list of acceptable proof of Florida residency on the Frequently Asked Questions page.

I'm so excited for you to begin your new adventure, Sabrina! Be sure to check out all of the great benefits of being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, like dining and merchandise discounts and some exclusive Passholder Extras, so you don't miss out on anything!

I wish you a year of pixie-dusted fun, and don't forget to come back and see your planDisney pals if you have any questions as you plan your Disney days!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
