I just moved to Florida. No ID yet and I have lease all my utilities included it’s a private owner. Will my bank statements suffice for proof of residency

    Hello Jessica!

Welcome to planDisney and welcome to Florida! I hope your move was uneventful and you are enjoying the Sunshine State!

Walt Disney World Resort has various options for Florida Residents to prove their residency. Lease agreements are not accepted but if you have mail from a financial institution that is dated within the last two months that shows your new Florida address along with your valid government-issued photo ID then you are fine. A photo ID could be a passport or driver's license from your last state of residence. In addition, these financial statements can printed or even shown via your smartphone.

My favorite place to set up my tickets is the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. The last time I visited I planned my visit to include a lovely dinner nearby followed by some shopping. I love that the parking is free here and there is always something fun happening.

I hope this helps and you have a magical time living near Walt Disney World Resort!

    Happy Planning!

Hey, it's Nimmy from New York! Just like my guy Jiminy Cricket I am your wisecracking and helpful guide to making the best decisions for your Disney vacation! My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
