Hi there, Carla. Welcome back to planDisney… and welcome to Florida! I absolutely love the flexibility and endless fun that come with a Disney World
Annual Pass. And I can’t wait for you to embark on your magical Passholder journey. So let’s make sure you have the information needed to get all the perks that come with being a Florida resident!
If you don’t have a valid Florida driver’s license, Florida state-issued ID card, or Florida military ID, Hakuna Matata! There’s another way to show
proof of residency at a Florida address using one of the following documents (dated within the past two months). Note that currently, leases are not accepted.
- Current mortgage statement
- Current homeowner’s insurance policy or bill
- Current automobile registration, insurance policy or bill
- Current utility bill
- Mail from financial institutions, such as a checking, savings or investment account statement
- Mail from federal, state, county or city government agencies
You’ll need to show this document along with a corresponding picture ID (like a passport, driver’s license, or state identification card). Everyone 18 years of age or older must show proof of residency (which sounds like it would apply to you, your husband, and your adult son). If you have proof of residency, your younger kids won’t need it (Florida residents under the age of 18 don’t need to show proof of residency as long as the adult purchasing the annual pass is a resident with valid proof of a Florida address).
This summer is the practically perfect time to join the Passholder family because there are currently so many
special extras going on. This includes an
exclusive lounge at EPCOT (which is a great place to cool off during the warmer months!), a
complimentary Toy Story-themed magnet, and an incredible
dining discount that saves you up to 40% at select restaurants Monday through Thursday. I can’t wait to use the discount at one of my favorite character meals,
Garden Grill!
I’m wishing you and your ‘ohana many magical memories over the next year! And if you have any other questions, we’re always here for you at planDisney.
