Just moved to Florida. How do I get Florida annual pass

    Hello Douglas!

Welcome to planDisney! Congrats on your recent move to sunny Florida! I hope you enjoy the warm weather and proximity to Walt Disney World! If were in your shoes I would be looking to buy an Annual Pass before I unpack my dinnerware. I would rather have my first meal be Mickey-shaped than whatever I can conjure on my stove.

As a Florida resident, there are four Annual Passes you are eligible to purchase at various price points and with various advantages. You can purchase them online and verify your residency online as well by putting your information in the requested fields. Once it's verified online you can just go straight to the Parks and enjoy! You may need to have a valid Florida driver's license, Florida state-issued ID card, or Florida-based military ID. If you have not managed to secure any of those items yet then you will have to visit any of the will call/ticket booths in front of any of the four Theme Parks or the Disney Ticket Center in Disney Springs with other kinds of residency proof to activate your pass. If you wish to buy the Annual Pass in person you can visit those same locations to do that!

Just a reminder, until January 8, 2024, guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort have to make theme park reservations. After this date, a date-based ticket does not need to make reservations. However, we Annual Passholders will still have to make theme park reservations, and depending on the type of pass we have, we can make between three to five of them at a time. It is a bit of planning but some positive news is that on January 9, 2024, Annual Passholders can now Park Hop at any time after visiting the Park where they have a theme park reservation. That means that you can visit another Park after visiting another. You can visit as many as you want! Walt Disney World Resort has announced that there will be some "Good-to-go days" for Annual Passholders in 2024 where no theme park reservations will be needed. More details will be announced soon on the Disney Parks Blog

I hope this helps and you make it to the Parks soon! Don't forget to unpack all the plates!

    Happy Planning!

My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
