Hi there, hi there, Anna! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!
Congratulations on your move to the Sunshine State, Anna! I'm so happy that you are now so close to The Most Magical Place on Earth. It's no wonder the magic is calling you to become a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder. I've been an Annual Passholder since 2015, and being able to just make Theme Park Pass reservations and head to my happy place on a whim truly brings joy to my life. But as someone who accidentally let her daughter's Annual Pass expire last year (Whoops!), I definitely understand the anticipation of sales resuming. Let's chat about your options to answer the call of the magic.
Right now, sales of
new Walt Disney World Annual Passes, except for the Pixie Dust Pass exclusively for Florida residents, have been temporarily paused, and unfortunately, no announcements have been made on when sales will resume again. But I recommend keeping a close eye on
the Passholder page on the Walt Disney World website and
Disney Parks Blog for the news on sales of new Annual Passes resuming as soon as it drops.
I do have a recommendation for you, Anna! While the
Pixie Dust Pass has blockout dates on the weekends and peak holiday periods, the Water Park and Sports Option has
no blockout dates! So, as a new Florida resident, you can purchase a Pixie Dust Pass and add on the Water Park and Sports Option for only $99 plus tax (prices are subject to change) for the whole year. That way, on the days that your Pass is blocked out of the theme parks, you can still enjoy the Water Parks, golf, miniature golf, and more! See?! The magic
is calling!
I hope this was helpful, Anna, and I hope to welcome you to the Passholder family very soon! Please stop by any time with any questions you may have along your magical journey.
Blues skies and sunshine,
Mandy
