Hello, Fanni! Congratulations on your recent move to The Sunshine State and your ability to become a
Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder as a Florida Resident! Ka-chow! Being in the movie business, you may appreciate this fun fact. From 1998 to 2003, Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios back in the day) was not only a Theme Park but also an active film and television studio. Two Disney classics, Mulan and Lilo & Stitch, were products of the studio, which is an excellent tad-bit to have in the event you ever find yourself playing trivia on
Disney’s Dream (my friends of the
planDisney class of 2024 know a thing or two about that)!
I’m happy to inform you of two things: if you purchase your
ticket or annual pass in advance online, you can verify your residency online. You will be asked to fill out the “Your Florida Resident Information” form upon check-out, and if you have the appropriate documentation, you will be good to go straight to the parks without stopping at Guest Relations! If you cannot verify residence online, you must head to Guest Relations when you arrive for your visit. Acceptable documents, in addition to a valid picture ID (license, passport, state ID card), include things like a monthly mortgage statement, homeowner’s insurance policy or bill, current utility bill, or current automobile registration, insurance policy, or bill. Additional proof of residence documents are
available here.
I hope this helps answer your question, Fanni, and I hope you have a fantastic visit to Disney World!
See you real soon,
Brent
