We just moved to California and still have our Texas license but I want to plan a trip to Disneyland. Will I still be able to go or California residents only?

Welcome to planDisney, Stephanie! Thank you for stopping by with your question about Disneyland.

Congratulations on moving into Mickey Mouse’s backyard! I bet you will be planning many visits to The Happiest Place on Earth in the future. Be sure to check out the Magic Key program. For proof of California residency, you can use a current utility bill, bank statement, pay stub, or residental lease with your names on it.

When Disneyland first re-opened, only California residents were allowed to visit the two theme parks. But, I have good news for you! In June, Disneyland opened for EVERYONE! Yay! So, you will absolutely be able to visit Disneyland in October. That is my favorite time of year to visit, because I love the Main Street Pumpkin Festival and all the Halloween decorations.

Have you watched “Behind the Attraction” on Disney+? I can’t wait to ride Jungle Cruise again after seeing the episode where it was featured.

I know you will have a magical time visiting very soon.

    Happy Haunting,

GAWRSH! Hiya pals! I am a Goofy-loving mom of 2, who is married to my real-life Prince Charming. My family supports my passion for all things Disney. Walt Disney World was my very first vacation, when I was just 3 months old, and I recently completed my 73rd trip to a Disney location! I have been fortune enough to parasail high above the Disney Fantasy, attend opening day of Batuu, snorkel in the lagoon at Disney's Aulani, and SO MUCH MORE! I can't wait to help you plan your Disney vacation!
