Hi I moved to California recently but have not yet gotten my drivers license. Is there any other way of demonstrating my residency?

Hi there, Caroline! We are happy to have you here at planDisney.

I understand you have moved to the Golden State recently. Congratulations! One of my favorite aspects of living in California is that Disneyland Resort is just a short distance away. There's a lot to look forward to celebrating this year at the resort! One example is the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. To learn more, I recommend looking at the festival's Disney Eats: Foodie Guide.

While you do not need to show identification if you are using a Standard Theme Park Ticket, you will be required to show a valid government-issued photo ID if you are using the So Cal Resident Ticket. Furthermore, your ID must show that you are a resident of Southern California within zip codes 90000-93599. No other forms of identification will be accepted.

The good news is that the So Cal Resident Ticket is valid through June 2, 2024. Please keep in mind that there are blockout dates and other Offer Details to keep in mind. You will also need a Theme Park Reservation for each day you plan to visit the parks. If you need to modify your reservations, please visit the My Theme Park Reservations webpage.

I hope this is helpful to you, Caroline. We're looking forward to having you at the parks real soon!

    Your Pal,
