We just moved to California. We do not have an updated ID yet what paperwork can we bring to enter the park?

    Hey there, Jessecca!

Welcome to "The Golden State of California," and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for bringing us your question.

It's great to hear that you're planning to celebrate your arrival in your new home state with a trip to Disneyland Resort.

As you have likely noted, only California residents are able to enter the theme parks during the current phased reopening protocols. When you sign in to your Disneyland account, your home address in your account profile will be used with the Theme Park Reservations system as one step to check for California residency. You'll also want to bring proof of California residency with you, along with your theme park admission and theme park reservation, when you go to the theme parks.

You mention that you do not yet have a California state-issued ID. I would suggest bringing some document like a utility bill, a financial institution statement, mortgage statement, or rental agreement that shows your new California residential address. Your name on the document should match your name on your photo ID.

Jessecca, I hope this information is helpful. Best of luck to you in your new home. And here's wishing you a wonderful visit to the theme parks at Disneyland Resort!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
