I just moved to California from Nevada and I want to do the magic key for payment plans but I obviously don’t have a California ID yet. Will I be required to show ID when I get to the park if I do the payment plans? I’m just concerned

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Dustin! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney. Thank you so much for stopping by with your question!

First of all, congratulations on your move! I bet you're super excited about living in beautiful California. I definitely would be! And it sounds like you've made the right decision too. Purchasing a Magic Key is the very best way to take advantage of everything the Disneyland Resort has to offer.

Dustin, the only acceptable forms of ID at Disneyland are a valid original passport, a government-issued photo ID, or a valid and active United States Armed Forces ID, and you will need to show proof of residency at the gate in order to activate your Magic Key. However, since you moved to California, you can activate your Magic Key until you've secured a California ID. You can still purchase your Magic Key now, but you won't be able to activate it unless you have your valid ID in hand.

I know you're eager to visit the Theme Parks as soon as possible, but all good things take time! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us so we can help you out! Have an absolutely magical day!

    Warm hugs,

    Ana Paula
