Greetings, Collins!
Welcome to planDisney and welcome to the great state of California! As a proud lifelong Californian, I’d like to say that you made a great choice in moving to the best coast. The weather is always nice, the beaches are beautiful, and, most importantly, we have
Disneyland Resort! What could be better?
The
California Resident 3-Day Park Hopper Ticket is such a great deal, and I’m glad you’re taking advantage of it. This ticket is available to guests who live within ZIP codes 90000-96199. While your passport will work for instances like verifying your age, cast members will not likely accept it if it does not clearly include your California address. Unfortunately, the
offer details clearly state that to prove your residency, you’ll need a valid government-issued photo ID when you purchase the tickets and, especially, when you arrive at the gate. They are not accepting lease agreements or utility bills for verification. In fact, each person using a ticket needs to show their government-issued ID that has their California address and their photo on it.
I hope this doesn’t change your plans! If it does, I’d suggest visiting the
Theme Park Reservation Availability page to look for dates further out, so you have time to acquire a government-issued ID. Don't worry, you still have time to use your tickets. All three dates just have to be used by May 21, 2026, so you have plenty of time to acquire an ID and schedule your visits. Park reservations do fill up, so make your reservations right away!
Collins, I hope your new life in California is a happy one. You have three visits to the Happiest Place on Earth planned, so you’re off to a great start. Don’t hesitate to bring more questions to
planDisney. Have a magical day!
Corey
