Hi William,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
If you haven’t already added your son’s ticket to your own
My Disney Experience account or
My Disney Experience mobile app, I suggest that you share the Ticket ID with the other guest who will have his ticket in their account. This way that guest will be able to add your son to their plans (ex.
Disney Park Pass,
Lightning Lane, etc.). Please keep in mind that guests need to be 13 years of age or older to have a My Disney Experience account.
If you’ve already added your son’s ticket to your account or you bought the ticket while you were signed in, you can try linking your account with your family member or friend’s account so they can see your son’s ticket. You can link the accounts within the “Family and Friends List” (within “My Profile”) in your My Disney Experience mobile app. Just make sure that the individual you’re linking accounts with is added to your list, then you can send them an email to link your accounts!
If the above isn’t working or you need further assistance, you can connect with the
Existing Tickets help desk. In my experience, if I ever need help with a ticket or something isn’t showing up the way I need it to, I connect with this help desk! When you speak with them, it might be easier to have your family member or friend on the phone as well so the Cast Member will know the account you’ll need to link with. If the guest isn’t available, Hakuna Matata, the Cast Member will be able to walk you through the above steps and you’ll just need to wait for your family member or friend to accept the invitation to connect the accounts.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as your son prepares for some fun at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other planning or vacation questions in the meantime,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
