When I move to Florida, what do I need in order to get my AP? And take part in the florida residents discount? Do I need to wait to get my Florida ID?

    Howdy Sarah!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I know you are excited to move to the beautiful state of Florida!  This is such an exciting move, and I appreciate you sharing your question with us!

I am so happy for you!  So many adventures will be awaiting you once you get your “Florida resident annual pass” for the Walt Disney World Resort!  I have placed a link in the above text “Florida resident annual pass,” and this link will inform you of all the documentation you will need.  I have several friends that have enjoyed this fantastic benefit for all Florida residents.

I highly recommend adding the Water Park Annual Pass to your Florida resident perks!  The Water Parks at the Walt Disney World Resort offers everyone a Splash-tastic time!  Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park offers so much fun for all ages!  My family and I always look forward to racing one another down the slalom-style water slides called Toboggan Racers!  This is a must-do for our family!  We are also big fans of Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park!  This Water Park is home to North America’s largest wave pool!  While enjoying Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool be prepared to catch a few gnarly waves!  After the wave pool, I love to enjoy a little relaxation time down the lazy river of Castaway Creek!  My family and I have not decided which Water Park is our favorite; we love both of them!

If you have any more questions while you are planning and preparing to purchase your Florida Resident Annual Pass, please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  We look forward to helping you with all your planning questions, Sarah!  Also, to stay informed of everything happening in the months and years to come, check out the Disney Parks Blog!  Get ready for “Dreams to Come True!”
