How do I move from a 4 day ticket to a 5 day ticket?

Hello Susan! Welcome to planDisney, we're so glad you're here!

The countdown is on for your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth and you simply could not have picked a better time to visit!  Between the 50th Anniversary celebration, the two new spectacular nighttime experiences, new attractions AND the addition of the fabulous Disney Genie Service you just know that every moment you spend at the Resort is going to be jam-packed with things to do and memories to make!

After talking about all there is to do it's no wonder that you feel like you need an extra day to take it all in!  No matter how many days I spend at Walt Disney World Resort I always wish I had more.  Changing the number of days on your ticket should be relatively easy whether you decide to complete the process from home before you leave or once you arrive on Disney property.

If you want to get all your dwarves in a row before you leave home, I suggest contacting a friendly and helpful Cast Member at (407)943-7639.  They will be able to modify your tickets before you even leave for the Parks!

If you decide to wait until you're at the Resort you have a few other options.  Cast Members at any Guest Services window (located outside of each Theme Park) will be able to add on to your ticket, or you can speak to the Concierge at the Front Desk of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel

No matter what you choose, make sure to upgrade your ticket within 14 days of its first use and when there is still at least one admission left on the ticket.  If you wait until you've entered the turnstile on your last "park" day to upgrade, you'll be charged the full price of another 1-day ticket instead of the difference in cost to add on to your previously purchased tickets.

Since you'll have an extra day to take in all there is to do, I highly suggest saving at least one night to catch EPCOT's new nighttime spectacular, Harmonious.  I was able to experience Harmonious during my last trip to the Resort and I have to say it was absolutely breathtaking.  I can't wait to head back and see it again!

    Happy Planning!

Meet the Panelist: Ashley, Massachusetts

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
