Hi Mouseketeers! I am planning a trip as a 39th birthday gift for my daughter the last week of April 2026. I want to give her a special tour - where can I see those on the website? And will the 70th anniversary celebration be there still?

    Hi Nancy,

Thanks for visiting planDisney! I love that you’re getting a jump start on your 2026 planning. Spring is a wonderful time to visit the Disneyland Resort, and there are lots of magical extras you can add to any celebration.

I’ve heard great things about Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Tour: “A Story of Celebration.” This two-hour guided experience includes a ride on the Mark Twain Riverboat and a trip aboard the Disneyland Railroad, as well as reserved viewing for nighttime entertainment (hopefully Paint the Night during your trip). Tours can be booked up to 60 days in advance, so check back in February to secure a spot for your daughter’s birthday celebration.

Springtime is typically a very eventful season at the Disneyland Resort. Season of the Force usually takes place from late March to early May, and hopefully, you’ll also be able to catch the tail end of the Food & Wine Festival. Be sure to check the Disney Parks Blog as your trip approaches to see what special events and offerings will be taking place at the Resort.

I hope this information was helpful, Nancy! If you have more questions or would like additional tips for your daughter’s birthday trip, feel free to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’re always here to add a little extra pixie dust to your vacation.

Happy planning, and I hope your daughter has a magical birthday!
