It sounds as if you are someone after my own heart, Deann! I am also an early bird who LOVES Disney's Wilderness Lodge. From the moment you arrive, you are transported to a stunning lodge in the tranquil Pacific Northwest, and with its location in the Magic Kingdom Park Area, this is the perfect home away from home right in the middle of the magic. One way that I love maximizing the magic of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is to take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resort Hotel Guests, so, I'm thrilled to help you maximize yours!

I think you will be happy to hear that the bus transportation system from your Resort to the theme parks will be able to accommodate your motorized wheelchair, once the buses begin running, regardless of the time you start your pixie-dusted day. Since Early Entry begins 30 minutes before official park opening, be sure to check your day's theme park hours to determine what time Early Entry begins and when you need to arrive at the bus stop. As an early bird, I usually try to arrive at my Resort's bus stop at least 45 minutes before I want to arrive at the park, so that I can leisurely rope drop the park (arrive before opening), beat the crowds and hop on my must-do attractions with short wait times. BEST. DAY. EVER!

Since you are staying at Wilderness Lodge, a Disney Deluxe Resort, I recommend that you also take advantage of Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. This perk, exclusively for Guests staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort, allows you to enjoy two extra hours of fun and magic with shorter wait times on select days at Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT. As your trip approaches, check the schedule to properly plan your evenings with extended fun!
