When will Mother's Day dining packages be available for Disneyland? Our vacation is May 7-10, and we are about to hit our 60 day mark to make dining reservations for Mother's Day, but nothing has been released yet on what the options will be.

Greetings, Shelby, and welcome to planDisney! Family time together at the Happiest Place on Earth is the perfect way to celebrate Mother's Day. In fact, it's a tradition for our family!

Typically, there are a few Character Dining locations at the Disneyland Resort that host a Mother's Day brunch (and dinner, depending on the location). I've noticed reservations for seasonal and holiday experiences are not always released right at the 60-day mark. At the time of writing this, we don't know when Mother's Day reservations will be released, but I think it might be soon. Keep an eye on the webpage for the specific location you're interested in, whether it's Plaza Inn, Goofy's Kitchen, or Storytellers Cafe. In my experience, information was added there first, including details about when reservations would become available. The Disney Parks Blog and the Disneyland page on Instagram are two other resources you can check periodically.

You can't go wrong with any of the Character Dining locations, but I personally love the Mother's Day Brunch at Plaza Inn. When I've gone before, I received a special button, a complimentary photo, and a pin, and also enjoyed meeting some special Characters! The food was delicious, too. Of course, the offerings might change, but I'm sure it will be special. The unique thing about this location is that you're already in Disneyland Park, so right after you're done eating, you can easily move onto attractions and entertainment.

Make sure you head to the park early on Mother's Day, Shelby – in previous years, Cast Members handed out beautiful carnations (while supplies last) to celebrate moms. It's such a nice sprinkle of pixie dust to start the day. I wouldn't want you to miss it!

During your visit, you can also take family photos at various Disney PhotoPass service spots. Some of my favorite photos were taken by PhotoPass photographers. If you happen to have the Lightning Lane Multi Pass (another great way to add magic to your visit), you'll be able to download your PhotoPass photos from that day from the Disneyland mobile app for free.

Shelby, I hope you have a magical visit with lots of laughter, great food, and happy moments. Please reach out if you have any other questions as your trip approaches. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
