My mother's birthday is 10/06 and she will be 80 years old. I would like some ideas to celebrate her birthday in Disney. I have family coming from Peru, France and Houston but all of them are grown up peolpe.

Hi, Dora! What a wonderful daughter you are to plan such a special birthday for your sweet mom! Your family has so much to be thankful for -- your mother's birthday, family coming in from all over the world and you being such a great vacation planner!

So, here's a plan to make something really special for your unique occasion:

    1. Go to Tours & Special Experiences to explore and find out if a backstage tour or a special cruise may be a great way to celebrate with your family.  Also, visit Special Events to see what will be happening to make your visit extra special.
    2. Then, take a look at Customizing Your Celebration and the many birthday ideas of the Disney Dream Makers. You'll want to call them at 407-827-3505 to explain your occasion and your ideas. Then, let them weave their magic!  A special cake brought to your table at a WDW restaurant or flowers and gifts in her room may be just what you're looking for!
    3. Lastly, choosing the right restaurant(s) in which to celebrate may be a key planning tool for you as well. Remember to make those Advanced Dining Reservations very soon. And finally, you'll want to check out Recreation Options such as golf, boating, carriage rides, bike rentals and spa experiences which would be great extras for everyone in your group.
Let me know what else I can do to help you plan! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
