Hiya Josh!
Welcome to planDisney! What a lovely mother-in-law you have! Park passes for Walt Disney World Resort sounds just splendid. Getting those passes or tickets to your account is now crucial as you need to secure those
Theme Park Reservations. Availability has been limited but I just checked and there is still some for next week!
Let me help you link those Park passes to you so that you can have a seamless entry into the magic.
Some simple steps using the
My Disney Experience Mobile App:
1. Open up the My Disney Experience App and click on the three stacked lines in the right corner.
2. Scroll down and click on "My Profile".
3. On the top right click on "
Family & Friends List."
4. Make sure that your mother-in-law is linked here. If not select "+ Add a Guest" and try to find her through the options provided.
5. Tell your mother-in-law to accept this invitation to plan with you by looking in their My Disney Experience account. Once you are connected you should see options to share plans.
6. Now that you are linked together, ask your mother-in-law to go into her App and click on the same three bars, click on "Tickets and Passes" and she should see her tickets in a lovely little row.
7. Underneath each ticket there will be an option to "Reassign Ticket" and she can assign it to her favorite son-in-law Josh and anyone else she desires.
8. From there you should see it now in your account. Make sure to refresh just in case you can't see it. (Refreshing could mean swiping down or just opening and closing the app)
If you are still having trouble please have your mother-in-law call Walt Disney World Resort and connect with the team that can help with
"Existing Tickets." I do hope this helps and that you have a wonderful time. Don't forget to make any Dining Reservations you want as well! Now that
guests can cancel reservations within 2 hours of the reservation time with no penalty I have seen normally hard-to-get reservations open up the day of. The brand new
Roundup Rodeo BBQ has been a new favorite among the panelists here at planDisney and I hope you and your family can get a chance to enjoy it! Remember to come hungry as you can eat as much as your heart and stomach desires.
I do hope this helps and if you have any more questions remember that you have a
friend in me!
