My mother-in-law will be joining us half way through our trip to WDW in May (1st trip for me, DD, and DS!!). Can one of us travel on DME to go to the airport to meet her and then travel back with her? Thanks for all your help! :-)

    Hi Andrea,

I spoke directly with a cast member who works with Disney's Magical Express and they confirmed that this complimentary motor coach service is only for guests who are arriving at Orlando International Airport (MCO) or departing the Walt Disney World Resort for Orlando International Airport the same day they are flying.  Guests are not permitted to ride the Magical Express to MCO from Walt Disney World unless they are arriving at or departing the airport that day.

If your mother-in-law is concerned about riding Disney's Magical Express alone, please reassure her that the process is very user friendly.  I have ridden it by myself on more than one occasion.  It is not at all uncommon to see single riders on Disney's Magical Express.  It's very easy, upon arriving at Orlando International Airport to follow the signs to ground transportation in section B, level 1 of the airport.  There she will find cast members ready to steer her in the right direction.

Wishing you all a magical vacation!
