My mother-in-law is coming later to join us for the race. Can I pickup her bib for her and what might I need to do this?

    Hi there Melanie,

Welcome to planDisney, it's nearly time for the runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend! This year's theme is "Embrace the adventure" and I imagine you're ready to do just that!

I participated in my very first runDisney event (also a runDisney Springtime Surprise weekend) two years ago with my oldest daughter. We are not runners but had been dreaming about participating in a runDisney race for a while. We had such a fantastic time running through EPCOT, around Disney's BoardWalk and meeting Disney Characters along the way - we knew it was likely not the last time we would participate.

As an International Guest, bib pick-up can be tricky as I need to work around the Expo's hours and keep my flight times in mind. I took a look at the runDisney website and under "Race Policies" found that, unfortunately, only the bib holder can pick up their bib. All participants must show a valid photo ID when picking up their bib (no exceptions will be made).

Be sure to set aside a chunk of time to check out the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo. Here, you'll not only pick up your race bib, you'll find sample medals for each event, connect with fellow runners and perhaps find some memorabilia to commemorate your race.

I hope you have a fantastic race, Melanie; may you be as swift as a coursing river and make many core memories along the race route!

    Adventure is out there,
    Candace
