Mother/daughter trip.Girls are in their own room, moms are in another--2 separate reservations, so separate planning parties. How do we get into the same planning party? The girls will be in charge of setting up/getting genie+, LLs, dining res.

Welcome to planDisney, Justine! Wow, it sounds like you've got a really exciting trip coming up. The beginning of November is a great time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, and I know you're going to have so much fun on your mother-and-daughter vacation.

Justine, if your two travel parties have booked your rooms separately, it's very easy to link your accounts in My Disney Experience so your girls can set up Disney Genie+ service, make dining reservations, and more. Open up the My Disney Experience app and tap on the main menu in the bottom right corner. Scroll down and tap on "My Profile," then toggle to the "Family & Friends List" at the top of the screen. You'll see a plus sign and text that says "Add a Guest," and when you tap on that, you'll be taken to a screen to find other Guests to link with. Select "I'll enter their name and age" and fill out the information on the screen. Make sure to select "Share Planning with this Guest" so they'll be able to manage plans for you. When you complete this process, an e-mail will be sent to the Guest you want to connect with, asking for their permission to link up. Once they've approved it, they will show up in your "Family & Friends List," and you'll be able to make plans together!

I hope this answers your question, Justine, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.

I'm a personal stylist and I live in Texas with my husband and our three rescue animals. We are Disney Parks-obsessed and love enjoying all the magic that's out there especially for grown-ups. In fact, we even opted out of a tropical honeymoon to spend a blissful week at Walt Disney World Resort instead! I'm thrilled to be on the planDisney Panel and I'm excited to share everything I've learned from all of our trips and help you plan a memorable family vacation.  Learn More About Jessica
