Mom With Kids After Run

    My mother has worked hard and saved for some time to take all of us (adult) kids and grand kids on trip to WDW in January (8 adults 4 children ages 1-6). She is a HUGE Disney fan. Can you recommend any special ways to say thank you during our stay?

    What a wonderful mother you have to treat her family to a trip to WDW & how thoughtful of you to want to do something nice for her to say "Thank You". You could treat her to dinner at a family style dinner - 'Ohana & Whispering Canyon Cafe are awesome. Dinner shows are super fun too (Spirit of Aloha, Hoop Dee Doo Revue & Mickey's Backyard BBQ). Since she's a huge Disney fan she may enjoy a character meal - I love Chef Mickey's & Crystal Palace. If you want to take her to a fine dining location California Grill, Artist Point, Citricos, Narcoossee's & The Flying Fish Cafe rock! Reservations can be made online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

    You could have a floral arrangement or gift basket delivered to one of your dining locations or have an in-room celebration waiting for her by the Disney Floral & Gift Department.

    The Wishes Dessert Party offers an amazing view of the fireworks & fabulous desserts. Right now they are only booking until the end of 2010 but keep checking to see if they extend it through your trip - 407-WDW-DINE. The Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage is a super way to see the fireworks at Magic Kingdom & so much fun for kids & adults.

    You could also treat her to a day at one of the many incredible spas at WDW. Or schedule her to dine with a Disney Imagineer.  How about sending her on a backstage tour?
