My mother will be traveling with us in June for our week long stay at Disney. She has a bad knee and will need to use a wheelchair, if she has a doctors note can she utilize them at the theme parks and what other options do we have for her?

Michele I am so glad your mother is not going to let her knee problem keep her from a wonderful family vacation at Walt Disney World.

A doctor's note is not necessary to use a wheelchair. You may bring your own or rent a wheelchair or electronic convenience vehicle (EVC) at the theme parks. Check out information on rentals at Guest Services- Wheelchair Rentals. Walt Disney World's theme parks are incredibly accessible so a wheelchair or EVC is probably the best option for your mother.

Enjoy your entire magical week at Walt Disney World!
