I am a mother of three children; 2yrs, 3yrs and 6yrs old. It will be our FIRST time ever going to WDW March of this year 2012 and I was wondering if Magic Kingdom and Animal kingdom would be the best idea for us as a family to see?

    Hi Jennifer!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

A first trip to Walt Disney World is always a very exciting one!

I personally think that all four theme parks at Walt Disney World have something for everyone, but I would probably recommend that for your children you have made great choices.  Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom are wonderful places for young children, and the whole family.  There is so much to see and do at both parks, and I think they will especially enjoy the parades and the character 'meet & greets'.  As you enter the parks, pick up a copy of the Times Guide to see the day's schedule - where you can meet the characters, and the times of any shows and parades.

You may wish to eat at the parks too - I would recommend The Crystal Palace, at the Magic Kingdom,  for younger children, and perhaps the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom.  Dining reservations can be made online, or by calling (407) 939 3463.

If you have any more questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
