My mother and I are taking my boys, ages 8 and 7 to Disney World on Feb. 20-28, we would like to know if there is are any parades celebrating Mardi Gras? Thanks a bunch.

    Hi Regina!

From what I've been able to research, there is a small Mardi Gras parade held at Port Orleans Riverside (POR) and Port Orleans French Quarter (POFQ) on Fat Tueday.  This parade is put on by the cast members at these resorts using decorated golf carts.  The parade starts near the POR food court, heads down Sassagoula River, around POFQ and back.  You may want to check for further details when you check into your resort (if you are not staying at POR/POFQ, the cast member may be able to make a call for you).

I am not aware of any other Mardi Gras parades.  To view other parades available during your stay, click here.
