My mother, sister and I are trying to get my step father to go to Disney World. My mother and I have been before, but my little sister and step dad have not. He says he does not want to go becase he cant ride rides because his back. What else can he do?

It wouldn't be appropriate for us to provide you advice about a medical condition, but I can let you know of two good sources for more information about handling disabilities/challenges in the parks:

    1) before you go, you might want to get a copy of the book "PassPorter's Open Mouse" which provides information on "easy-access vacations for travelers with extra challenges."  There are a few pages of recommendations relating to mobility issues, very detailed descriptions of each attraction in each park (and special cautions for specific disabilities/challenges), and lots of helpful general information and advice.

    2) Once you are at WDW you can go to Guest Services at any of the parks and ask for the "Guidebook for Guests with Disabilities" for each park.  These booklets includes lots of detailed information about each of the attractions that can be helpful for most disabilities/challenges.

I know I haven't directly answered your question, but I hope you find these resources helpful.
