My mother has received a couple magic band from her trips this past fall. is there a way for us to deactivate one of hers for me to use?

Hi Samantha! You do not have to worry about getting your own Magic Bands for your next trip as they do not cost the guests anything extra. Your mother's are both linked to her account and personalized just for her so they cannot be used by other people. As it gets closer to your vacation time you will be asked to select and personalize the bands for your entire family or for those going on the vacation with you. right now there are seven colors to choose from but I am sure that might even change and you have more by next fall. The plan is that once you have a band you can use it for other trips up to about two years in length as the battery life is about that long. Or you can select a new color for each vacation. Lots to look forward to in the next few months so keep checking in to see what is new!
