My mother really wanted to do the swim with the dolfins for her birthday with her grandchildren in Cabo. All of the packages sold out in the first few minutes of booking. Any ideas for options? Would we be able to just book direct, or when we get there?

    Welcome back, Scott!

I can't wait to set sail to Cabo on the Disney Wonder again soon myself. The last time we were there, we had the most amazing day. Since Disney offers so many exciting Port Adventures in Cabo San Lucas, there's no lack of activities from which to choose! I'm sorry that the dolphin swim that you wanted to enjoy is already sold out. The good news is that guests change their plans all the time, so I'd encourage you to continue to check back as you count down the last days until you set sail. You may just find, especially in the week leading up to your cruise, that spots open up. There are a few different dolphin swim options, so be sure to check availability for all of those offered!

If not, you can still check onboard with the Port Adventures desk about the possibility of any additional openings. Finally, if Disney's adventures are completely sold out and you want to book directly with one of the dolphin excursion groups in Cabo San Lucas, you can do so. Many have their own websites with details, and I know that at least one is within a five minute walk from the cruise port. Do an online search to find one that seems best for your family, though some do allow walk up's, but do keep checking with Disney first. I prefer to always take Port Adventures with Disney because they make it super easy for our family. Since we meet onboard and leave the ship as a group, we're sure to be together with other Disney cruisers, and the ship always knows where we are. If we run into a delay as a group, the ship knows, so we don't find ourselves stuck on our own and racing to get back before the ship leaves. I like that security for my family when we're in foreign ports.

I hope you're able to snag spots on this adventure, Scott! Have fun planning!
