Hi Jena,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
It sounds like your mother already has you linked in her “Family & Friends List”, but let’s double check. First you want to make sure she’s added your Theme Park ticket ID into
My Disney Experience so it shows up in “Tickets and Passes”. Next, from the home screen of the My Disney Experience mobile app, press the three horizontal lines in the lower right-hand corner, scroll to the bottom and select “My Profile”. Finally, select “Family & Friends List” to make sure your name is on her list.
If your name is on her list, under your name it might say “Plans Managed by Me”, which means she’s in charge of your plans so your ticket might not show up in your My Disney Experience account. Select your name on her list, select “Share Planning with Jena”, and enter your email address. Once you accept the invitation, you will be able to see the plans and co-manage them with your mom. From there, you should be able to see your Theme Park ticket in your My Disney Experience mobile app.
If this doesn’t help, please reach out to the
My Disney Experience and MagicBands help desk. The Cast Members should be able to determine the reason your Theme Park ticket isn’t showing up.
Once all this is sorted, make sure to book your
Disney Park Pass reservations. From the home screen in the My Disney Experience mobile app, select the “+” symbol in the bar at the bottom (two buttons to the right of the “home” button). Next, select “Make a Park Reservation” then select “Theme Park Tickets” this will take you to the Theme Park Reservation page where you can select your Disney Park Pass reservations. Want to confirm the availability of your favorite Theme Parks? Review the
Theme Park Reservation calendar before selecting your reservations.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is useful as you prepare for your trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort. If you have further
vacation or planning questions, please feel free to reach out, I am always happy to help!
