My mother purchased 2 day park passes for my family of 4. Do my children 15 years old and 12 years old need a government photo ID when checking in to the parks?

Hey there Malina and welcome to planDisney!

Grandmothers are just the best. How lovely is it that your mom would show her love by gifting y'all with Theme Park Tickets to the Most Magical Place on Earth?! And in just a few days you're going to be walking right into the magic.

You won't be required to show any photo identification to enter the Theme Parks. You'll stop at the tap styles and either use your MagicBands or Disney MagicMobile Pass to enter. The only way you'd need to show some form of identification would be if you had Florida Resident theme park tickets which would require anyone over the age of 18 to show proof of Florida Residency

Pro-tip: While you won't need i.d., what you will need is a Theme Park Reservation via the Disney Park Pass System. You would need to have those reservations for the park you would like to visit each day.

Malina, give your mom a big hug. She's more than earned I'd say. If you have any other questions, just give me a holler!

    Happy planning!
