Hey there, Michelle! Welcome back to planDisney. Thanks for bringing us another great question!
You’re very considerate to look out for your mother, so you can both have the most magical visit possible. Although there is no shuttle from the Disneyland Resort Hotels to the park entrances, let me mention a few things that might help:
~ There is an entrance to Disney California Adventure Park from
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. You will enter the park near Grizzly River Rapids.
~ There is a new entrance into Disney California Adventure Park for
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel Guests. Just across the street from the hotel you’ll see a sign for the entrance. You will enter the park near Corn Dog Castle, close to Goofy’s Sky School.
~ If staying at the
Disneyland Hotel, you can walk through the Downtown Disney District until you see the entrance to Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. You can walk through the hotel into Disney California Adventure Park.
~ You can consider renting an
Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) near the park entrance. They cannot be reserved and are limited in number, so you may want to arrive early. You can also bring your own ECV.
There are plenty of places to sit and relax throughout the day at both theme parks. I love finding an available park bench, settling in with my favorite Disney snack, and people watching throughout the day.
You might also consider adding
Disney Genie+ to your day – this will give you access to
Lightning Lanes, which are faster queues, to reduce the time you spend waiting in line. My family and I always use Genie+ as it’s a great way to do more during our day. It is a magic carpet ride worth taking.
Wishing you and your mom a wonderful, magical vacation, Michelle!
