Hi there, Melinda! Thanks for sending your question to planDisney!
I tend to perk up anytime someone mentions "Disney dining!" I'm a big fan of dining and snacking my way around Walt Disney World Resort. My personal favorite restaurants are
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin',
La Hacienda de San Angel and
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. As soon as my dining window opens up, I'm ready at 6 a.m. to book these three spots! Speaking of which, I wanted to remind you that you can make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance of your arrival date for the length of your stay!
I believe you're asking how to link the Disney Resort hotel reservation made by your mother to your
My Disney Experience account. You can
link your hotel or vacation package by choosing "select" under the option for "Resort Reservation or Vacation Package." You'll be prompted to enter the reservation confirmation number and last name on the reservation. Once you hit submit, you'll be asked to match any Guests to the reservation. You'll want to make sure that you are already
linked with family and friends in order to accurately match the Resort Guests.
Again, 60 days from your arrival date is when you can begin making advanced dining reservations. You can do so for all members of your party. Melinda, I do think it is important to add that you do not have to specify which Guests will be in attendance on your dining reservations. You are given the option to add Guests when confirming your dining party or simply using your name and a specific number of guests on the reservation! This can sometimes save a little time if you are trying to book the harder-to-get restaurants.
I hope this helps get your party all linked up and ready to enjoy the magic!
Ta ta for now, Melinda!
