Hi Donna.
From the entire planDisney team, we are so sorry to hear about the health of your mother-in-law. We wish your family all the best during this difficult time.
For your upcoming trip, while your park tickets may be nonrefundable and nontransferable, you will not lose the value of the amount you paid for them. If your tickets go unused, you can use the value you paid for them toward a future ticket purchase. You'll need to
call the Existing Tickets line at the Walt Disney World Resort and speak to a Cast Member for assistance. They will be happy to help and get you set up for another visit. You will be responsible for the balance of the new ticket cost.
When the time comes to reschedule for a later date, keep in mind that
theme park reservations are required for entry into the parks each day. I suggest looking at the
theme park availability calendar before making any selections, especially if you plan your dates on short notice. Certain times of the year are busier than others and dates can fill up quickly for select parks.
Donna, we'll be thinking of your family over the coming days. Take care and thanks for stopping by with this question.
