Hi Mia! October is the perfect time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! The temperature is coming off the summertime highs. The summer crowds have returned to school and work. And, the festive fall and Halloween decorations usher in the fun of the fall season!
The Early Theme Park Entry benefit can be used by Guests who have a reservation at a Disney Resort Hotel or another hotel that participates in the Early Entry benefit. The Guests include the people who are linked to that reservation/room. You can
use this link to check all of the hotels that participate in the Early Theme Park Entry benefit. If you don’t have a reservation at a participating hotel, then you won’t be able to enter the theme park when your mother-in-law enters. Guests not staying at a participating resort hotel can enter the theme park when it opens for normal operating hours.
Mia, be sure to check the list of participating hotels using the link above. Some Guests make the mistake of assuming that their hotel doesn’t participate in the Early Theme Park Entry benefit because it isn’t a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. If you’d like to send a follow-up question indicating the specific name of your resort hotel, a planDisney panelist will be happy to clarify whether your hotel participates in the Early Theme Park Entry benefit!
Since you're visiting during October, Mia, check out
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! This is my family’s favorite fall event at the Walt Disney World Resort! With a special Halloween parade, fireworks show, and trick-or-treating through Magic Kingdom Park, nobody throws a Halloween party quite like Mickey Mouse!
Dreams do come true!
