Hi, my mother in law is giving my two children opportunities to do something special on our next visit over Christmas this year. It was easy to pick something for my 5 year old daughter but I am struggling finding something for my 7 year old son.

    Hi Jaime!

Christmas is such a wonderful time of the year to go to Walt Disney World. When I read your question, the first thing that came to my mind, was for your son to try the Pirate's League! It's really fun for the boys and girls to be transformed into pirates! I was amazed at how many kids were walking around the park in their pirate attire last weekend on our trip to Magic Kingdom. To make the full transformation, they can then go exploring through Adventureland as one of Captain Jack's mates in his new interactive adventure called A Pirates Adventure: Treasure of the Seven Seas. My kids (12 & 8) had a great time looking around for hidden clues and seeing what would happen when they found the next part of the puzzle.

These new interactive experiences are a really fun way to get through the parks. I must say, that the Wilderness Explorers experience at Animal Kingdom is one of the best additions to all of the parks. It was very informative and we will definitely finish off earning our badges on our next trip!

Thank you so very much for asking the Moms Panel, Jaime! If you have additional questions, we are always here to help! I hope you have a magical day!
