My mother in law is buying us Florida Resident Annual Passes to Disney for Christmas. We are trying to figure out the easiest way to do this. If she buys Disney gift cards, can we use those at the ticket window to purchase our passes?

    Hi, Julia!

GREAT gift, and I know you are going to get loads of use from it!

The purchaser is responsible for providing proof of residency at the time of purchase or at pickup. If your mother-in-law is also a Florida resident, she can either purchase the passes in full, or she can use the monthly payment plan available exclusively to Floridians.

Your mother-in-law would be required to purchase the Passes in person or order them online and pick them up at Will-Call with you in order to supply one of those forms of identification.

Pass purchasers using the Florida Resident discount option are required to show one of a variety of forms of Florida identification, including, but not limited to, a State-issued photo ID, a mortgage statement, a homeowner's insurance statement, or a utility bill in the purchaser's name. The list may be found in its entirety on the Web site.

At this time, Disney requires that the purchaser of the monthly contract has proof of Florida residency. The official language on the Web site: "The Monthly Payment program is currently only available to Florida residents for the purchase of select Florida Resident Passes. The contract purchaser must be able to provide valid proof of Florida Residency and be at least 18 years of age."

What a wonderful way to make magic for an entire year!

    See you later, celebrator,
