Hi Kacy,
Welcome to planDisney! It looks like you’re thinking ahead and want to have a smooth, uninterrupted trip to Disneyland—great planning!
I spoke with a helpful Cast Member at Guest Services, and they let me know that there are some areas within the park where you can charge your ECV if needed. I recommend stopping by the
Stroller Rental area outside the park (to the East). The Cast Members there are typically familiar with the best locations to charge mobility devices.
I also asked about bringing a portable charger, and there is a possibility you can bring one in. I recommend calling
Guest Services directly with details about your specific charger to confirm whether it’s permitted inside the park.
As a reminder,
ECVs are available to rent at the stroller rental area. You’ll pay a rental fee and then be all set to enjoy your day. ECVs provided by the resort cannot be reserved in advance, so it’s best to arrive early, as they’re available on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you're staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you also have the option to rent an ECV for the length of your stay. These rentals can be reserved in advance through Disney’s featured mobility device partner. You can find all the details on the ECV and Wheelchair Rentals page—just scroll down to the section titled “
Disney Featured Provider.”
I hope this information was helpful, Kacy! If you have any more questions or need additional tips, feel free to reach out to me or one of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’re always here to help sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on your Disney adventure.
Have a magical vacation!
