My mother in law just booked a trip. Is there a way to link that trip to my Disney Account because we may want to add a couple more days to our stay?

Hi Heather! Welcome to planDisney where we love to help guests like you with all of your planning questions!

It sounds like your new year will be off to a great start with a vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth! If you would like to link the hotel reservations your mother-in-law has made, you will need the hotel reservation confirmation number. Once you have this information, you can link it to your My Disney Experience account by selecting "Resort Hotel" and then, "Link a Reservation." If you would like to stay additional nights, you will need to make a separate hotel reservation. If you prefer to stay at the same resort and have the same room, you can request to have the reservations linked by calling Disney Resort Hotel Reservations by calling 1-407-939-1936 for assistance with this. I had to do this with an upcoming stay I have next month. I spoke to a Cast Member who helped link my reservations together, and she made a note on my reservations that it's a continuous stay, so the resort team will know that a room change is not needed.

As you are making plans, be sure to check out all of the magical things you can see and do at The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration! You can also make advanced dining reservations up to 60 days before your arrival date.

If you have more planning questions, please feel free to send them to us at planDisney. We would love to help you plan magical memories with your family!

    Happy Planning!
    Smiles,
