My mother is joining us for our June trip. She has mobility issues, but not in a wheel chair. She will want a cool place to sit and read and people watch for long periods while we do rides. Can you suggest spots in all 4 parks? Thank you so much!

    Hi Elizabeth!
There are many wonderful places to rest, read or people-watch at all four theme parks at the Walt Disney World. Your mom will have plenty of places to rest. Here are some of the places I always like to sit and rest at the four theme parks: At Magic Kingdom, I have many pictures resting on a bench right next to Goofy, in front of the Exhibition Hall at the entrance of the theme park (great spot for people-watching). We always stop for a bit in front of the Tomorrowland Speedway, where you will find benches covered by beautiful tress that offer great shade. I enjoy the benches at Frontierland, overlooking the Tom Sawyer Island. But my absolute favorite is sitting in the Pirates of the Caribbean town area. I love it!
At Hollywood Studios there's nothing more fabulous than resting your tired legs in the Sunset Boulevard benches. Since I'm the roller coaster lover in the house, my family enjoys the seating areas outside the Rock N' Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith.
At Epcot, I love the benches that surrounds the World Showcase lagoon. You simply can't get a bad seat there. I also love to sit in the benches located outside the Mouse Gear shop.
At Animal Kingdom, my favorite area is definitely the pathways between Asia and Africa, where you might catch a walking vine!
Hope this helps and have a magical vacation!
